Let me explain why Journey out of Agoraphobia will lead you back
to a permanently agoraphobia free life.

    Do you:

    • Try to avoid going out anywhere?
    • Never travel out alone?
    • Only go to trusted places?
    • Only travel with certain people?
    • Plan everything around your agoraphobia and anxiety?
    • Have to sit in aisle seats or near exits?
    • Fear panic or dying if you go too far from a trusted place or person?
    • Consider your health and safety, constantly?

Believe me, I know EXACTLY how you are feeling.

I too suffered with agoraphobia throughout my life. It started at school but my parents just thought I was shy or sensitive. As I grew older, I would make excuses to not leave home, go on school excursions, to play far from home or travel away from my parents. I felt constantly under stress, threatened and lonely but I accepted how I felt and hoped it would 'get better'.

I didn't know what it was that I experienced back then, but after school, I went to live in Germany and that's when I started experiencing these deep feelings and thoughts about:

    • my own personal safety
    • constant reassurance seeking finding and maintaining access to places and people of safety
    • never going anywhere without my cell phone and my props - water, snacks etc
    • making excuses not to do things that made me feel anxious
    • feeling out of control, losing consciousness or being ill while out
    • having access to medical help should I need it
    • avoiding holidays and excursions

The physical affects of the agoraphobia and anxiety are overwhelming.

    Do you experience:

    • Panic Attacks
    • Shortness of Breath
    • Dizziness
    • Chest Pains
    • Muscle Aches and Pains
    • Sweating
    • Shaking
    • Tightness in Your Throat
    • Weak Legs
    • Distorted Vision
    • Dry Mouth
    • Digestive Upsets
    • Strange or Distorted Thoughts

These, believe it or not, are all the expected and most common symptoms of high anxiety associated with agoraphobia and while disturbing and uncomfortable, are completely normal and harmless.

I knew, deep down, that my anxiety was inappropriate and you know that yours is too, but HOW do you stop those thoughts and symptoms from dictating to you how you lead your life, where you go and what you do?

    So what is Agoraphobia?

Agoraphobia can be defined as an inappropriate fear of situations that expose the sufferer to large crowds, public scrutiny, open spaces, embarrassment or traveling away from a person or place of trust.

The dictionary definition of Agoraphobia is 'fear of public places' but this definition is too narrow... the affects of Agoraphobia on the sufferer can be far reaching.

    Agoraphobia IS NOT a Phobia!

Agoraphobia is a symptom of an underlying anxiety condition
and not a stand-alone disorder or phobia.

What does this mean to you?

The word 'phobia' is defined as an anxious reaction caused by a SPECIFIC catalyst... like spiders, heights, snakes or flying. These specific phobias, unlike Agoraphobia can be experienced by generally 'non anxious' people. Agoraphobia requires that the sufferer has a pre-existing anxiety disorder such as Generalized Anxiety Disorder or Panic Disorder. Without an underlying high level of inappropriate anxiety, Agoraphobia cannot exist.

Agoraphobia is fuelled by anxiety as sufferers limit their geographic movements to prevent an anxious reaction; this means that every time you react to your high anxiety by limiting where you go or by only traveling while accompanied, your agoraphobic 'habit' is growing inside of you, being reinforced by your behavior!

Agoraphobia is NOT a mental illness, Agoraphobia is a behavioral modification to prevent high anxiety, nothing more.

    Doesn't this make sense?

Agoraphobia is a 'natural reaction'; a form of self-preservation. When threatened, our subconscious mind causes us to retreat to a place of safety; agoraphobia is an embellished form of this behavior. Agoraphobia causes the sufferer to experience the affect of anxiety even when no actual threat exists, this happens when the perceived threat is given credibility by inappropriate levels of anxiety.

The 'Agoraphobic cycle' works like this:

Anxiety causes fear - fear causes retreat
    - retreat gives credibility to fear
    - fear causes anxiety...
    ...and so on.

Agoraphobia causes sufferers to limit their activities and is often responsible for the breakdown of normal routines that have a knock-on affect through every aspect of their life. Agoraphobia has been needlessly responsible for job losses, breakdowns in relationships and other potentially life-changing issues. But I can show you you can very quickly take back control and do what myself and my clients have done without exception using my agoraphobia elimination technique.

Journey out of Agoraphobia is a 5-part audio program which I recorded as I used a method, that I developed, to finally overcome my agoraphobia.

"I was confined to my house for over two years before discovering The Journey Out Of Agoraphobia on the Internet. Now, less than three months later, I have just got back from Disneyland Paris. I can't tell you how grateful I am!"

    Does it work?

Yes, after more than 4 years I went from being housebound because of high-level Agoraphobia to working again, in just 5 days!

Over the last 12 years I have taught this same technique to tens of thousands of agoraphobia sufferers who have used it to do the same.

    Is it simple?

It couldn't be simpler! All you do is listen to each of the five audio tracks in turn and 'follow my lead' as I walk you out of Agoraphobia.

"I can't believe how simple it was. I was so overwrought with anxiety and panic for so long that I thought staying at home was the answer. I now have the answer and I can't believe how simple it was..."

    M Giannini

How long does it take to do?

It will take you a maximum of 30 minutes a day! In just 5 days, you'll feel very, very different about your situation!

    Is the curative effect permanent?

Yes, like all subconscious learning that takes place, such as learning to drive, to play an instrument or ride a bike, the learning is stored in an area of your brain responsible for storing instinctual behavior; this is behavior which happens without conscious thought.

The Agoraphobic 'anxiety response' is stored in this way. By following my lead as I walk you out of Agoraphobia, you are replacing the 'agoraphobic neural pathways' of behavior in your brain, with 'non-agoraphobic behavior'... this builds new, more appropriate neural pathways and renders the anxiety provoking thoughts you have about your location and safety obsolete!!

It BREAKS the link your brain makes between your location and fear!

This Journey out of Agoraphobia program will show you how to regain control of your life and allow you to move around more freely... it may even undermine and remove your elevated anxiety – this has happened before, many times!

"The Journey out of Agoraphobia program was a godsend. I was literally stuck in my house until I decided to try the program. In 5 days I completely changed how I perceived my agoraphobia and was able to move around freely again free of the fear that had previously paralyzed me."

    Jane Goodrich. MA

I could go into the physiology of the brain and explain how the memory of anxiety is stored and how the link between high anxiety and your geographic location forms but that would be 'overkill'.

All you need to know is that this technique works, it's simple, non-threatening and permanent!
